Meet The People of Visions

I have always wanted to
"show dogs" as long as I could remember! You can ask my school
librarians as I always had the dogs books out, every one, on every breed. I grew up
with wonderful mongrels, but wanted a purebred dog of any kind just so I had something I
could show.
1992 was the year my dreams came true. That fall I adopted a Doberman from the
humane society. Damian was a wonderful dog, though at only a year old, he had been
in 3 different homes and was uncontrollable. I took him to a great obedience class
ran by a German Shepherd breeder. Growing up with Shepherd mixes, I was very
impressed with her dogs. Damian & I excelled in obedience - we earned our CD
Obedience title and he also was a wonderful therapy dog. Damian also had roles in
our local theatre group for two performances: Fiddler On The Roof and Sweet
Charity.
Two years later I acquired my first GSD, Pebbles. I showed in obedience
and we earned her CD. Beowulfe, pictured below, stole my heart in the snowy
spring of 1996. As my first conformation dog, Beo earned 7 AKC points and a Major
Reserve with a handler. Wanting to be active myself, I discovered the wonderful
world of UKC. There Beo finished his UKC Championship undefeated for
breed, with me on the end of the lead.
On November 17, 2000, Tristan entered my life. It was then that I discovered the big dog in the little package... the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. We are smitten by both breeds. I actively show in both AKC Conformation, and we are training a few of our fur kids in agility, competing in CPE when the time allows.

My wonderful husband, Leonard, loves all our "fur kids" and is the best puppy plaything.
